Dedicated professionals driving our success
Frédéric Collonval
Chief Executive Officer
Frédéric has passed a Ph.D. in numerical simulations. Then he integrated Safran group in which he maintained and developed multiple tools before starting an internal start-up with some colleagues developing CoSApp - a new simulation framework to design complex systems that eventually got published publicly. During that period, he got more and more involved in the interactive-computing Jupyter ecosystem. That materializes professionally by joining QuantStack - a company leader in Jupyter development - and on the community by becoming a distinguish contributor and the JupyterLab representative to the Jupyter software steering council in 2023.
Mehak Jain
Intern 2026
Mehak is a 3rd-year B.Tech student in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Rishihood University. She has a strong background in open-source contributions, having participated in Google Summer of Code 2024 with the Jupyter Toolkit — where she merged high-impact pull requests improving JupyterLab's UI consistency and architectural coherence. Most recently, she designed and built ChemCopilot at Mstack Chemicals, a multi-agent AI platform for chemistry R&D that reduced time-to-synthesis by up to 90%. At WebScIT, she is conducting research toward the design and implementation of a scientific modular framework, beginning with a thorough analysis of existing platforms, IDEs, and extension ecosystems — with the aim of delivering a working prototype by the end of the summer.
